Love, Love, Love

May 6, 2021May 6, 2021 / Elisa Uhrynowski / 2 Comments

There’s a song from the 90’s that was in the movie, Night at the Roxbury, entitled “What is Love?”, the theme of the movie. “May is Mental Health Awareness Month, which has heightened importance these past few years as we navigate with the ups-and-downs of the COVID-19 pandemic. Approximately one in five adults experience a mental illness in a given year, yet most people never seek help. Contrary to what most people think, reaching out for help is a sign of strength. Seeking help takes self-awareness, effort and commitment. It means confronting challenges and working to overcome them — whether you’re seeking help because you have concern about your mental well-being, or you’re just feeling stuck. Turning to people with expertise in behavioral health can help you effectively manage conditions like depression, or learn how to change deeply entrenched thought patterns.” - Griffin Hospital Faculty Physicians

I must admit…I am “B”.
